We believe in employing and empowering women. We are a brand which is for the empowerment of people. We are there to educate people about the fundamentals of life,” he said.

The organizations business model Chad said is inclusive as it seeks to empower local communities.

“We try and work with land producers. We have a grower scheme which is there to promote growers in the area.

“Our out grower identifies framers within the area and we tell them of our expectations. We then supply them with inputs as a business,” he said.

Chad said they are targeting to open 20 branches by end of next year.

He added that they are in partnership with PUMA Service Station.

“We are in a partnership with PUMA and they gave us 14 sites across the country at their service stations,” he said.

Amongst other places in the company’s expansion drive are Masvingo, Zvishavane, Victoria Falls, Gwanda and Karoi amongst others.

In the throat cutting industry, Chad indicated that Chicken Hut has a unique marketing strategy.

“We are leading in terms of digital influence. We have more followers than our counterparts on social media platforms,” he said.
